Children will learn the technical components of the written English language. This course focuses on grammar, close passage, comprehension and simple sentence constructions. It is recommended for children who have completed our reading programme before signing up for our writing class.
- Young Writers
Based on the latest Ministry of Education syllabus, our English course focuses on developing skills all examinable components: speaking, listening, comprehending and writing. In addition, the students will also receive instruction in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, synthesis and transformation.
Young Writers’ Workshop
This course is designed for students from Kindergarten 2 to Primary 6.
The students will focus on developing skills in all examinable components: speaking, listening, comprehending and writing. The students will also receive instruction in the areas of grammar, vocabulary, synthesis and transformation.
Our curriculum adheres to the latest PSLE formats, providing students with the rigour of weekly practices under the guidance of our NIE-trained teachers.
Through this course the students will:
- acquire the different skills and strategies for composition and situational writing
- pick up the strategies on how to approach and excel in the language components in Paper 2
- gain practice and tips on how to approach and speak confidently in the Oral Examination
A course catered specifically for Primary 3 to 5 students. This course focuses on writing and vocabulary building. Students will get to explore the vast range of vocabulary and descriptive phrases that will be useful for them in their compositions. They will get ample practice and exposure to the various forms of writing. The class encourages students to complete composition every week. They too will be exposed to oral practices during the lessons.
